Endodontic Treatment Costs

Endodontic procedures are highly specialised and often involve the use of expensive state-of-the-art equipment to give our patients the best chance of a successful outcome and as much comfort as possible during treatment.

To avoid the likelihood of further infection, we use brand new preparation instruments for much of the work we do and dispose of them following treatment. Treatment costs are worked out on the basis of time taken and materials used. An initial consultation of half an hour is available if you are unsure as to whether you want to go ahead with treatment, or if your dentist has asked for a second opinion. These consultations are charged at £130.00, inclusive of radiographs. Typical treatment charges are calculated on the average time taken to complete the work. Charges will vary according to the difficulty envisaged and to what extent existing restorations may need to be dismantled

Typical Charges

  • Consultation
  • £130
  • Incisors, Canines, Premolars
  • £500 - £650
  • Molars
  • £675 - £850
  • Surgical Procedures
  • £500
  • Post Removal
  • £150
  • Temporary Crown
  • £75

Additional costs may be incurred for sedation, emergency visits or procedures requiring extra treatment time, for example, removal of fractured instruments. Usually, it will be the responsibility of your own dentist to provide an appropriate permanent filling or crown following the early stages of healing. This would be charged separately by your practice.
