COVID-19 – Patients

The environment and procedures may be quite different when you come for your appointment, we do not in any way want you to be anxious but want you to be reassured that we are doing our best to keep you and the staff protected at all times.

  • You will be contacted before the appointment and asked basic medical history questions.

Once you have an appointment:

  • Please arrive at the time of your appointment.
  • You should not enter the practice unsupervised –please call us
  • Please come alone
  • Ideally you should avoid use of the waiting room.
  • If you are early and have transport, please sit in your car until the time of their appointment
  • When you come in  you should wear a mask
  • You will have your temperature taken before they enter the practice –either by the nurse or receptionist. If it is above 37.8 degrees centigrade, you will not be permitted to enter the practice
  • We will have facilities for washing and hand disinfection
  • We will be wearing protective masks and visors-don’t be alarmed!
  • At the end of the procedure please replace your mask
  • The receptionist will make further appointments and will deal with paperwork by email if necessary

Hopefully we will be back to normal soon!

During these unprecedented times all Treatment have so far stopped at EndoCare due to the risk of spread of Covid 19.

We are now cautiously reopening with enhanced procedures aimed at keeping both staff and patients protected so that treatment can once again be carried out in a safe environment.

Before you make an appointment we will be asking various questions to make sure that staff and other patients can be well looked after:

Nobody with Covid symptoms is allowed into the practice.

  • How are you generally?
  • Do you have a temperature at the moment and if so, is it over 37.8 degrees centigrade?
  • Do you have a new persistent cough?
  • Have you got or have you had muscle pains?
  • Have you got or have you had a persistent headache in the last 14 days?
  • Have you become breathless or are you more breathless than usual?
  • Have you lost your sense of taste and/or smell within the last 14 days?

Nobody who is asymptomatic but self-isolating should come for an appointment.
